Breaking the Silence: A Conversation about Suicide Awareness with Guest Speaker, Rolinda McCarthy, Psy.D., Clinical Therapist/State Prevention Coordinator at the Virgin Islands Department of Health, Division of Behavioral Health.

Dr. McCarthy, a native Virgin Islander with over twenty years of experience in the mental health field, has dedicated her career to dispelling stigma and negative perceptions.

This presentation seeks to encourage open conversations and enhance the understanding of suicide awareness. Dr. McCarthy will cover suicide prevalence, misconceptions, personal stories, and perspectives on mental illness. Resources will be available.
